Real Lancashire Chorley Cakes 4pk - Sold Out
Product Description
Chorley cakes are named after Chorley, Lancashire, England! They are both jam-packed with raisins. What’s the difference between Eccles cakes & Chorley cakes? Well, for starters, Chorley cakes are more level. Second, Chorley cakes are baked using shortcrust pastry (usually a base in pies, tarts, etc.), as opposed to a flaky pastry featured in Eccles cakes. Third, the sugar on top is absent on a Chorley cake. Fourth, and lastly, Chorley cakes are about half the thickness & are smaller. We think it is tea time. 🫖 Made with real butter, these Chorley cakes are the real deal. Delicious warmed in the oven, or enjoy the Lancashire way with butter and cheese!
