Maxons Yorkshire Mixture - 250g

As a traditional Yorkshire company the Yorkshire Mixture is the signature product of Maxons of Sheffield . A mixture of fruit and mint flavoured boiled sweets, made to the original recipes, it is a traditional favourite in Yorkshire and around the country.

It is thought that the history of Yorkshire Mixture dates back to the early 1800s and the Industrial Cities of the North of England. Street Vendors went from Factory to Factory selling a small mixture of the local sweet factory’s production from the previous days, whatever was left.

We keep to that tradition and although we always include Humbugs, Fruit Rock, Fish and Pear Drops you may also find some of what has been produced that day be it Pineapple Chunks or Strawberries & Creams no bag is exactly the same.
